  1. it seems we like a lot of the same authors. I love your blog. thanks for keeping it current! so many people start then peeter off…so have you read Rainwater by Sandra Brown? i’m not a huge fan of hers, but this book is her latest and not her typical type of writing. i think you might enjoy it. I did. I like that era though, the 1940’s.

  2. I searched your site (which I love BTW) to see if you had reviewed anything by Kaye Gibbons, who wrote ‘Ellen Foster’ and ‘A Virtuous Woman’ (Oprah’s Book Club). I’ve only read the latter but would love to get your take on it and the author. It’s a quick read at 165 pages so I’m leaving it at the cottage.

  3. I see you haven´t read anything from George R.R. Martin? I am interested to see, what do you think about him, his books?
After I finished reading J.K. Rowlings Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows I started reading his books from the saga A Song of Ice and Fire (A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Feast for Crows, A Storm of Swords and A Dance with dragons) – once started reading, I read all 5 books in a month or so.

  4. Thank you for posting all the great reads. I live and work in Italy, and I rely on my Kindle to get books I am interested in. It is no substitute for browsing a bookstore, though. I am going to read your reviews and buy some books:)
