Ok everyone, here is my list of books I’ll be reading for Renay’s Herding Cats challenge.  We are supposed to pick a minimum of 3 books from the HUGE master list, but I’m feeling a bit ambitious so I picked 6.  And here they are:

1. Inkheart - Cornelia Funke

2. The Girls - Lori Lassens

3. Atonement - Ian McEwan

4. I Capture the Castle - Dodie Smith

5. The Bell Jar - Sylvia Plath

6. The Road - Cormac McCarthy

And the best part is, these are all books I’ve had on my shelves already and have been desperately meaning to read.  Nothing like an interesting challenge to kick my reading into gear a little bit!

great list! I’ve haven’t many of those, only The Bell Jar, but all the others I’d like to read one day.
I have a hughe list for now, I think I’ll have to skim it a bit :P

The Bell Jar is amazing. I’ve read it a couple of times and love it more every time I read it.

I’ve read #2 and #6. I Capture the Castle is on my TBR list. Good luck finishing this challenge!

Ooh, such good picks!

But I came to tell you that you won The Boys in the Trees. If you’ll email your address (dewpie at gmail) then I’ll send it soon!

Great list! I’ve read everything but The Girls and Inkheart (which my son read and loved), and they are all excellent choices. I just finished reading I Capture the Castle recently - one that had been on my own TBR pile for ages, and that I so enjoyed!
